“Chromosome”

A quartet interrogating racial oppressions and how they get imprinted onto us.

“Threat”

A solo performed by a black, gay male that questions 'who is the threat: the interrogator or the interrogated?' Involves audience participation. Premiered at Kaufman Hall, UCLA (December 2014).

 

"Grave"

Large ensemble (8-10 dancers) work based on the five stages of grief. Premiered at Lula Washington Dance Theatre Studio (August 2014). Tri Arts Festival, San Pedro (September 2014).

 

"Jazz Passages Experience"

Trio of dancers. Classic jazz photos are the backdrop to reimagined classic jazz dance set Jazz standards. Multimedia by Jon Deshler. Live Music by Jon Deshler (trumpet), Doug MacBeath (Bass) as Jazz Passages Duo, and Happi Price (vocals). Premiered at Lula Washington Dance Theatre Studio (April 2014).
